The Monitor Setup page

Configure Plauti Monitor's analysis setup on the Monitor Setup page. We recommend doing this before granting your users access.

Prerequisites

• If you are not a Dynamics 365 System Administrator, you need to have the Plauti Admin role.

Accessing Monitor Setup

To open Monitor Setup:

1. In your Dynamics 365 environment, open the Plauti for Dynamics 365 app.
2. At left, in the Plauti Monitor section, go to Monitor Setup.

The page opens at the Monitor Setup Home, which displays a dashboard of your current configuration and activity.

• At the top, click + Add Entity to add more entities for analysis by Plauti Monitor.
• Below, the Field Types widget shows the distribution of the different field types over the available fields. These field types correspond with Dynamics 365's field types.
• Storage Usage The number of records shown here is extracted from a snapshot that is taken by Dataverse once every 24 hours, so data shown might be slightly out of date. Read more here.
• Latest Job displays details about the last Monitor Job that ran or is running. At Status you can see whether it completed, failed, or is still running.
  • Click Open to view the job result details.
• Configured Entities shows per Entity the number of Analysis Types and fields that you have enabled for analysis.
  • Click Start Job to start a Monitor Job to analyze the entity and save the results in the Monitor Library.
  • Click Configure at an entity's line to edit its Analysis configuration. Read more in Entity Analysis Configuration.
  • Click Open to view the job result details of the latest job you ran for that entity.
