Uninstall Plauti Desktop

To fully uninstall Plauti Desktop:

  • Uninstall the app
  • Delete the app-related data

Uninstalling Plauti Desktop

Uninstalling Plauti Desktop from Windows

  1. On your Windows machine, go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed Apps
  2. Find Plauti Desktop in the list of installed apps
  3. At right, click the three-dot icon … and select Uninstall
  4. Once the app is uninstalled, go to C:\Users\<your-username>\AppData\Local\.plauti Note that this is a hidden folder.
  5. Delete all Plauti Desktop data that you do not wish to retain from the folder

Uninstalling Plauti Desktop from macOS

  1. On your Mac machine, go to the Applications folder
  2. Find Plauti Desktop.app in the list of applications
  3. Rightclick the app and select Move to Bin
  4. Once the app is removed, go to Users\<your-username>\Library\Application Support\.plauti Note that this is a hidden folder.
  5. Delete all Plauti Desktop data that you do not wish to retain from the folder

Accessing hidden folders

To access hidden folders on Windows:

  • There are several ways to view hidden folders in Windows. For example, in File Explorer, go to tab View and tick 'Hidden Items'.
    To access hidden folders on MacOS:
  • In Finder, go to the location where the hidden folder should be. Then press CMD + SHIFT + period ( ⌘+⇧+ . )
