Updating from 1.4 or earlier

If you are updating from version 1.4 (release R7.2, January 2025) or earlier:

  1. Install version 1.12.
  2. Follow the update instructions for version 1.5 as described in Updating to version 1.5.0.2, 2025 R8.
    This is important! Without this step the deduplication features will not work correctly.
  3. After finishing the update instructions for version 1.5, continue from step 2. below.

Updating from 1.5 or up

If you are updating from one of the versions 1.5 or later (releases R8, February 2025 or later) :

If you are using Plauti Desktop or Plauti Server, make sure to update these as well! See below.

  1. Install version 1.12.
  2. After installing, in the Plauti Deduplicate app, go to Manage Entities at left.
    For each entity:
  3. Click Manage.
  4. If, at the bottom of the page, you see a message about an unpublished draft version, check your settings, in particular on tab Feature Activation & Setup. Then click Publish Now.
  5. Repeat for all entities.
  6. Update Plauti Desktop and/or Plauti Server.
    • For updating Plauti Desktop, see the ‘Update Plauti Desktop’ articles in Plauti Desktop.
    • For updating Plauti Server, see the ‘Update Plauti Server’ articles in Plauti Server. 
    • If you are still using DC Local or DC Local server, now is the time to switch to Plauti Desktop or Plauti Server. Read more in Switching from DC Local to Plauti Desktop. The download links in the install articles will provide the latest version of Plauti Desktop and Plauti Server, that are compatible with this latest Plauti Deduplicate for Dynamics 365 version.
