Duplicate Check has been renamed to Plauti Deduplicate, and app labels have been updated to match this. Technical identifiers such as API names have not been touched.

In 2025, we renamed our apps to create more unity and clarity. All visual elements in our apps will also reflect this new branding. This means that labels and display names for components, objects, fields, permission sets, custom settings, flow actions, and more have been renamed to align with Plauti’s refreshed solution and platform branding.
Rest assured: This update is visual only. We have not changed any API names, field references, or other technical back-end identifiers behind the scenes. Your current configurations, automation, and integrations will continue to work exactly as before.
As a reminder, these are the old and new names for our key solutions:

The feature renaming follows the same naming convention. Some examples of the new feature names you'll encounter:
DC Job → Deduplicate Job
DC Setup → Deduplicate Setup

Old names still shown
In some cases you might still encounter the old app names.
Clear cache
Delete your browser history and cache to remove references to old naming.
Rename DC Live
The Duplicate Check Live component has a title that cannot be updated by the new app version.
To display the new app name in DC Live you can either
- Change the Component Title, or
- Switch out components
To do this, go to the Lightning Component Builder for the pages where you are using DC Live:
- Go to the Object where you are using DC Live.
- Open a record of the Object.
- At top right, click the Salesforce Setup icon and select Edit Page.
- On the page layout, click the DC Live component. Either:
- Change the Component Title field at right, or
- Delete the DC Live component, and drag the Deduplicate Live component (at left, under Custom - Managed) to its spot.
- Click Save.
- Repeat for other Objects where you are using DC Live.

Plauti apps in SF App Launcher
In the Salesforce App Launcher top left, currently both Duplicate Check and Plauti Deduplicate can be found.
For now both these apps are still available, but from the Summer '25 Features release onward only the new Plauti Deduplicate app can be used. So add it to your favorites!
Plauti Assign and Deduplicate for MS Dynamics
The apps Plauti Assign and Plauti Deduplicate for MS D365 still use some old names here and there. They should be fully updated in the third quarter of 2025.
