I cannot restore a record change

Problem:

I cannot undo a change in Plauti Restore.

Answer:

  • Check the Salesforce Recycle Bin to see if the record is still present. If it’s not present, Plauti Restore cannot recover the record. (Merges and deletions only)

    The record might be not present anymore for two reasons:
    • You clicked 'Restore' at a Merge or Deletion that was already restored earlier. The record should be actively present in Salesforce instead.
      Or
    • The record was already permanently removed from the Salesforce Recycle Bin. Read more in Plauti Restore and the Salesforce Recycle Bin‍.
  • Check the Restore Changes overview to see if the change data for the record you want to restore is still present. Without the change data the record or field cannot be restored. (All change types)
    The change data might have been deleted because the retention limit was reached, or the change took place before that specific change type was tracked.
