App Setup

Last published at: October 17th, 2025

The place for managing Plauti Assign maintenance tasks.

You won't need to come here often, but every once in a while you might need to perform some maintenance actions here.

To manage Jobs and other maintenance tasks:

  1. In Plauti Assign, go to the Assign Setup tab
  2. At left, under ‘App Setup’, click Jobs & Maintenance

Background Jobs

Manage PA jobs that run in the background (scheduled jobs). Create the jobs when you start using Plauti Assign, delete and recreate them when the previous job creator left the company, etc.

Create Jobs

When you first start using Plauti Assign, the PA jobs need to be created. These background jobs are required for actions such as assigning queued records and checking SLAs.

  1. Click Create Jobs .
  2. Go to Salesforce Setup > Scheduled Jobs.
You should see seven ‘SRR’ jobs listed, scheduled within the next hour.

Kill all Queueable Jobs

You will rarely need to do this, but if so, make sure to purge the cache as well:

  1. Click Kill Queueable Jobs
  2. Click Purge Platform Cache

Delete Jobs

Actions such as reassigning queued records or checking SLAs are managed by Plauti Assign background jobs. If the user that scheduled these jobs is not active anymore, the jobs will stop running. In that case they need to be deleted, and recreated with an active user.

  1. Click Delete Jobs to delete the inactive scheduled jobs.
  2. Click Create Jobs to recreate the jobs with an active user.
  3. Go to Salesforce Setup > Scheduled Jobs to verify that the seven ‘SRR’ jobs have been recreated with an active user, and are scheduled to run within the hour.

Maintenance

Purge Match Logs older than 6 months

In Orgs that process many records, the Match Logs will build up. Click Purge Match Logs  to delete Match Logs older than 6 months old. Note that this can affect any reporting you may have set up that includes the Match Log Object!

Purge Platform Cache

As Plauti Assign does real-time processing, Platform Cache is implemented to improve performance. The following things are cached: User Out of Office status (10 mins), whether Out of Office is enabled in your Org, Assignees that are added or updated, Match Rules that are added or updated.

Click Purge Platform Cache in the rare instances where you for example killed the queueable jobs (see above), changed Chatter Out of Office settings and you want the change to take effect immediately, etc.
For Assignees or Match Rules that have been added or updated it is not necessary to purge the cache; in those cases the cache is updated right away.
