This feature enables you to update a certain field or set of fields with specific values upon successful assignment by Plauti Assign. It is set at the Match Group level.

Example: Update 'Rating' field to 'Hot' when the record is assigned by the ‘Hot Leads’ Match Group

In this example we will look at how the Rating field on the Lead object can be updated with the value Hot when a record is matched and assigned. Imagine we have two Match Groups, one that matches regular leads and another that singles out the HOT leads:

To set the Rating field to Hot (and in this example the Description field as well):

1. In Plauti Assign, go to Assign Setup > Match Groups
2. Open the Match Group where you want to update fields upon assignment
3. Go to its Settings subtab 
4. Scroll to the Update Fields on Assignment field
5. Enter the fields and the values they should get upon assignment. 
   The syntax is: "firstFieldname":"firstFieldvalue" with further fields separated by a comma, e.g. "Rating":"Hot","Description":"Hot Lead Matched by PA" 
   This would enter ‘Hot’ in the Rating field, and ‘Hot Lead Matched by PA’ in the Description field.

So for our example, it will look like this:

In summary - this will set the Rating field and the Description field to their values set in the Update Fields On Assignment setting every time a record is matched and assigned by this Match Group.
