Uninstall Plauti Deduplicate for Dynamics 365

Last published at: June 5th, 2026

If you want to uninstall Plauti Deduplicate for Dynamics 365, first undo the setup of each Entity for Plauti Deduplicate, and then delete the solution itself.

1. Confirm configured Entities

  1. Open the Power Apps Make interface.
  2. Make sure that you have the correct environment selected by picking it in the Environment picker at top right.
  3. At left, click Solutions.
  4. Show all Solutions by clicking All.
  5. Find the Plauti Deduplicate for Dynamics 365 solution and select it.
  6. In the top ribbon, click Show Dependencies. If you don't see it right away, click the three-dots ('More Commands') button.
  7. The Dependencies list shows all of the components of the system that have been adjusted by a Plauti Deduplicate entity setup process (e.g. forms).
The related Entities need to be removed from Plauti Deduplicate as explained in the next step.

2. Undo Entity setup

For each of the configured Entities:

  1. In Plauti Deduplicate, go to Manage Entities.
  2. At the first Entity in the list, click Manage at right
  3. Click the <Entity> Settings tab.
  4. In the "Advanced Settings" block, at "Start Entity Teardown Process for Entity", click Start Entity Teardown  and wait for the teardown process to finish.

3. Confirm dependencies were removed

After the Entity Teardown process has finished for all Entities, confirm that all of the dependencies of the solution have been removed.

  1. Perform another dependency check by repeating step 1. 'Confirm configured entities' above.
  2. If you still see some dependencies listed, clear your browser cache and reload the page.

When no more dependencies are shown, continue with step 4. 'Delete the solution'.

4. Delete the solution

  1. Go to the Solutions overview of your environment again.
  2. Either
    • Select "Plauti Deduplicate for Dynamics 365", and click Delete in the menu ribbon at top.
      Or,
    • Click on the three-dots icon on the "Plauti Deduplicate for Dynamics 365" line, and select Delete.
  3. Click OK in the confirmation window.

Plauti Deduplicate has now been uninstalled.
We're sad to see you go, and hope to meet you again in the future!

Troubleshooting

If, after executing the Entity Teardown process for all entities, the solution dependency check still shows components as dependencies of the Plauti Deduplicate solution, and clearing the browser cache and refreshing the page does not solve this, then the Entity Teardown process might not have been fully carried through. This might have happened due to a simultaneous automated deployment of another solution for example. Run the Entity Teardown again at a later time.

If running the Entity Teardown process again does not work, then enable Plugin Trace Logs in your environment if possible, perform the Entity Teardown process a third time but now with trace logs enabled. Contact Plauti Support and attach the execution logs for the following actions:

  • plauti_TriggerEntityTeardownCA
  • plauti_EntityTeardown001
  • plauti_EntityTeardown002
  • plauti_EntityTeardown003
  • plauti_EntityTeardown004
