Switching from DC Local to Plauti Desktop

A new app: Plauti Desktop

To improve user experience, maintenance, and feature consistency, DC Local has been replaced by a new app: Plauti Desktop. 

The grace period has ended, meaning from now on DC Local is not working anymore. Read below how to install Plauti Desktop instead.

Replacing DC Local with Plauti Desktop

To replace Duplicate Check Local with Plauti Desktop:

  1. Copy your settings and uninstall DC Local as described in Uninstall DC Local or DC Local Server Mode.
  2. Install Plauti Desktop as described in Install Plauti Desktop on Windows or Install Plauti Desktop on MacOS.
  3. Open Plauti Desktop and connect it with your Org or Environment as described in Getting Started with Plauti Desktop.
  4. Configure the Plauti Deduplicate Settings the same way as your previous DC Local settings. Note that the ‘Auto process jobs’ setting is called ‘Auto Run Jobs’ in Plauti Desktop.
