Accessing Plauti Desktop
Plauti Desktop is installed on your local machine. Find the app under your installed applications as ‘Plauti Desktop.app’ and open it.
First time use
If you get a message that Duplicate Local is still installed, uninstall DC Local first before continuing. Read more in Switching from DC Local to Plauti Desktop.
The first time you open Plauti Desktop, you are asked to make your first Connection. This is only to get you started; later on you can create more connections with other Salesforce Orgs or MS Dynamics Environments than the one you will select here.
- Click + Create your first connection

- Select what you want to connect to: a Salesforce Production or Sandbox Org, or a Dynamics 365 Environment.
- Click Connect

- A Salesforce or Dynamics 365 login window opens.
- For some type of Salesforce sandboxes you might need to use the option “Use Custom Domain”.
- For Dynamics 365, select your environment first.
- For some type of Salesforce sandboxes you might need to use the option “Use Custom Domain”.
- Enter your login details and log in.
You are now logged into Plauti Desktop. The next time you open Plauti Desktop this login has been remembered and you will be logged in straight away until you actively log out.
