How to enable API access on a Salesforce account

As part of configuring Plauti Verify for Salesforce, you need to enable API access to your Salesforce environment; either by profile or by permission sets. You will need it when working with Plauti Verify!

Enable API access in Salesforce by profile

1. Navigate to Salesforce Setup > Users > Profiles
2. Click the profile you want to update and click Edit
3. Navigate to System Permissions
4. Tick the API Enabled box
5. Click Save

Enable API access in Salesforce by permission sets

1. Navigate to Salesforce Setup > Users > Permission Sets
2. Select the permission set you want to update and click Edit
3. Navigate to System > System Permissions
4. Tick the API Enabled box
5. Click Save
