Auto Run Deduplicate Jobs on Desktop
Plauti Deduplicate in Plauti Desktop can be set up to run jobs automatically. This means that after starting a job in Plauti Deduplicate in Salesforce or MS Dynamics, you don't need to go to Plauti Desktop anymore to start the job there. Plauti Desktop does need to be running though.
With Auto Run Jobs enabled in Plauti Desktop, Plauti Deduplicate will be polled every five minutes to see if there are any new jobs that need to be started.
Enabling or disabling Auto Run Jobs
Auto Run Jobs can be enabled and disabled per Salesforce Org or MS Dynamics Environment. To enable or disable Auto Run Jobs:
- Open the Plauti Desktop app.
- In the left menu, under 'Plauti Deduplicate', click Settings.
- At Auto Run Jobs, find the org or env you want to enable or disable Auto Run Jobs for.
- Toggle the switch to enable or disable Auto Run Jobs for that org or environment.
Auto running jobs
Note that the Plauti Desktop app needs to be open for the jobs to run. When the app is closed, or your machine is shut down, Auto Run Jobs will stop as well.
Jobs that are started automatically are processed in the same way as manually started jobs:
- In the Jobs overview, at tab Pending and running jobs, the progress of the job is shown. Note that it might take a few minutes before the job is picked up. Click Refresh jobs at right to refresh the 'Pending and Running Jobs' overview.
- Once the job is finished, it will show up on tab Finished Jobs. It will also be shown in Plauti Deduplicate in Salesforce or MS Dynamics, where you can process it further.
