Deploying Changes to Production

Last published at: November 6th, 2025

To deploy Plauti Manipulate actions from Sandbox to Production, create Macros based on the actions and export those to your Production Org.

Plauti Manipulate does not yet have a full import/export wizard to deploy all configurations from Sandbox to Production, meaning you cannot export Manipulate Jobs and Actions to Production. However, you can create Macros based on the Manipulate Actions, and export those to your Production environment.

Create Macros in Sandbox

A Macro is a predefined Manipulate Action that can be reused. Select an action type, define which fields and values should be used, and save it for future use, or in this case for exporting action configurations from Sandbox to Production.

Export and Import the Macros

Then, export the Macro from your Sandbox Org, and import it into your Production Org.

  • Make sure that Production already has the same Objects and Fields configured that are used in the Macro, else the Macro cannot be imported.
  • Make sure Production already has Plauti Manipulate installed as well.

Configure Jobs based on the Macros

Once imported into your Production Org, set up one-off or scheduled Manipulate Jobs based on the preconfigured Macros, instead of the default Manipulate Actions that still need to be configured.
