Determines at the object level whether Plauti Assign will run or not

Set Plauti Assign settings with Custom Metadata

Some Plauti Assign settings can be set via the Custom Metadata as well as in the Assign Setup, others can be set only here for now.

  • Enable or disable which Objects should be processed by Plauti Assign
  • Set the batch size for attempting to assign Queued records
  • Tweak your Plauti Assign setup with optional settings

Enable Plauti Assign per Object

Plauti Assign installs by default with support for the Lead, Account, Opportunity, Contact, Task and Case objects. You can set at the object level whether you want Plauti Assign to process records for these objects. (Record level control is done with the Use_Round_Robin__c selector). This guide explains how you switch on and off processing for the default PA objects.

This is the same setting as enabling or disabling Plauti Assign via the app, in Assign Setup > Object Configuration.

  • Go to Salesforce Setup > type Custom Metadata into the Quick Find box.
  • Click on Custom Metadata Types in the navigation menu
  • You will see a Custom Metadata type called Plauti Assign Object (API name: leadassist__SRR_Object__mdt)

  • Click on 'Manage Records'
  • For each Plauti Assign Object, click Edit, and decide whether you want Plauti Assign to process this object or not by checking or unchecking the 'Trigger Active' checkbox.

Set batch size for assigning Queued records

Plauti Assign attempts to assign QUEUED records using scheduled jobs. You can change the batch size for the number of records queried here. If you set this to 20, then this will be the batch size per ObjectType per Job Run. So if you have Match Groups for Leads and Opportunities, it will select the top 20 oldest QUEUED Leads and the top 20 oldest QUEUED Opps in a single scheduled job run (which by default runs every hour).

  • Go to Salesforce Setup > type Custom Metadata into the Quick Find box.
  • Click on Custom Metadata Types in the navigation menu
  • You will see a Custom Metadata type called Plauti Assign Queue Processor Batch Size (API name: leadassist__SRR_Queue_Processor_Batch_Size__mdt)
  • Click on Manage Records
  • At the ‘Batch Size’ record, click Edit
  • At the Batch Size field, set your batch size.
  • Click Save.

Set Optional Parameters

In the Optional Parameters, you can tweak your Plauti Assign setup.

  • Go to Salesforce Setup > type Custom Metadata into the Quick Find box.
  • Click on Custom Metadata Types in the navigation menu
  • You will see a Custom Metadata type called Plauti Assign Optional Parameter (API name: leadassist__SRR_Options__mdt)
  • Click on Manage Records
  • At the setting record you want to adjust, click Edit
  • Make your changes and click Save.

One of the options you see here is ‘Advanced Telemetry’, also known as Plauti Analytics.
This setting is used to help Plauti improve its products & services by sharing anonymized analytics. The analytics are fully anonymized and cannot be traced back to you. No user or record data is retrieved.

Another option is OrgWideEmailAddressId. This is used to set up an Org Wide email address for your emails sent via Plauti Assign. Read more in Use Org Wide Email Address For Email Notifications.
