The Plauti Verify Agent enhances customer communication by validating email and phone details, provided by your customers, in real-time. It eliminates the need for manual checks, reduces errors, increases email delivery rates, and minimizes failed call attempts.
The Plauti Verify Agent template, used in combination with the Plauti Verify solution, provides out-of-the-box agent instructions and actions for email and phone validation, that can be easily invoked during your prompts. Since they are delivered as a template, you can clone and customize them to fit your specific use cases.
Currently the Plauti Verify Agent can validate email addresses and phone numbers. Address validation support will be added in the future.
Key Features
Email Validation
Validate email addresses given by (potential) customers in real-time. Verify that an email address is valid and is not a disposable address, spam trap, or a bouncing address.
Phone Number Validation
Validate phone numbers in real-time during customer interactions. Check that they are correct, standardized, and have the correct country code.
Follow-up Response
Based on validation results, automate follow-up responses, to get the correct data or to continue the conversation.
Store Validation Results
Store the validation results directly on the involved record in Salesforce.
Setting up Plauti Verify for Plauti Agentforce
If you are not yet using Plauti Verify, or are only using some features, follow the steps below to set up Plauti Verify for use by Plauti Agents.

Install Plauti Verify. Read more in How to install Record Validation.
You can install for Admin only, and do not need to proceed to step 2 - configuring Plauti Verify.
Once installed: - In the Salesforce App Launcher at left, open the Plauti Verify App.
- Go to tab Verify Setup.
- If requested, click Refresh License.
- Go to menu option License at left.
- Check that you have sufficient credits to start with.
Via menu options License and Transactions you can buy more by clicking Buy Credits
.
Creating a Plauti Verify Agent
To create a Plauti Verify Agent, create a Plauti Agent as described in Configuring Plauti Agentforce Agents.
In step ‘Select your topics’, make sure the topic Data Validations with Plauti, with actions Plauti Agentforce - Email Validation and Plauti Agentforce - Phone Validation, have been added.
Once created, test it by having it validate a phone number and/or email address.
This will also give you an indication of the Plauti Verify credit use. To check your credit use, open the Plauti Verify app, and go to tab Verify Setup > Transactions.
A test conversation for the Plauti Verify Agent could look like this:

Note how the agent requests a phone number and country, then matches the number with the country, validates the phone number, and reformats it.
Troubleshooting
- If validating does not seem to work, check the Agent log.
If the Output Message field in the Agent Log states a message along the lines of “Plauti Verify is not installed” or “Record Validation is not installed”, this means that the Plauti Verify app has not yet been installed, or is still waiting for license verification. See above at ‘Setting up Plauti Verify for Plauti Agentforce’.
