Fields to Analyze
Configure analysis types per field, to control how object fields are analyzed.
Starting from version 1.6.0, Plauti Context has been renamed to Plauti Monitor.
In Object Configuration you can configure:
- Which Fields should be analyzed
- Which Analysis Types should be used for analyzing
The Fields and Analysis Types tabs both offer this configuration, just from a different standpoint: decide per Field which Analysis Types and settings should be used, or decide per Analysis Type to which Fields it should be applied and with which settings, or whether it should be used at all.
Changes made on one tab are also reflected on the other tab.
Default settings, if present, are managed via the Analysis Types tab.
Configuring Analysis Types per Field
On the ‘Fields’ tab, all Fields of the Object are listed, along with their Type, and an indication of how many default and custom Analysis settings each field is using.
To configure Analysis Types for a certain Field:
- At the Field, click Configure at right.
The Field Configuration modal opens.
For each Analysis Type:
- Hover over the Info icon to see what this analysis does. Find an extensive explanation of all types under The Analysis Types.
- Toggle Enabled to enable or disable the Analysis Type.
Disabled Analysis Types are not applied to this field when running a Configured Monitor Job for this Object. This saves storage space as well as job runtime. However, the analysis type can still be selected for the field when running an Ad Hoc job. - Configuration displays the current settings for this analysis; when starting out these are usually the default settings.
Decide if you want to use the current settings or adjust them.
Fold open with the 'Configure'
chevron button to view details and set custom settings for the analysis type. See Analysis Type Configuration for more information.
If instead of a value, a dash is is shown, that particular Analysis Type cannot be configured further. - Click Save to save your changes.
