Create a Configured Job for use in the Library
On this page
Run a Plauti Monitor Job for data analysis to record in the Monitor Library. This type of job is called Configured Job.
Create and run Configured Analysis jobs: Monitor Jobs to analyze your data per Object, to record in the Monitor Library. This type of Monitor Job will use the configurations as set in the Object Configuration, hence the name Configured Analysis job.
To run a Configured job automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, set up a schedule. Read more in Scheduled Analysis.
To run a standalone analysis job, for example to only run one or two Analysis Types on a few fields, which will not affect the Monitor Library, run an Ad Hoc Job instead.
To run any Monitor Job, you need to have Monitor Admin permissions. Furthermore, all job calculations respect Salesforce permissions and field-level security.
Running a Configured Analysis job
To create a Monitor Job for use in the Monitor Library:
- In Plauti Monitor, go to
- Monitor Setup tab > Configured Objects section on the Home page
Or - Monitor Setup tab > Object Configuration > configure an Object > Scheduled Analysis tab > Next Run line
Or - Monitor Library tab > open an Object/Asset > Quality Trends tab > Latest Job section
- Click Start Job or Start Now.
In the Latest Job section, and on the Monitor Job tab at top, the job appears as ‘Queued’. - Once the status of the job in the Latest Job section turns to ‘Completed’, click Open to view the results.
The Monitor Job Results tab opens. The job you just ran is displayed, labeled “Configured”, indicating that it ran according to the Object Configuration settings and that its results are stored in the Monitor Library.
Fold open each Analysis Type to see its description and the analysis result details. Read more in Monitor Job Results.
Notes
- New fields that you create on the Object in Salesforce Setup are only included in configured job runs once analyses are enabled for them. By default, all analyses are disabled for new fields. To have them enabled automatically, go to Monitor Setup > Settings and switch on Automatically enable analysis for new fields. This setting applies to all Objects.
Furthermore, new fields are not detected automatically: after creating a field in Salesforce, click Refresh Metadata on the Object's configuration page to make it available in Plauti Monitor. - Each job analyzes up to the record limit of your license. If an Object has more records than the limit, only the oldest records are analyzed. Newer records are not included in the analysis results, Quality Scores and the PDF summary report. To check your record limit, go to Monitor Setup > License. Read more in License.
