Scheduled Analysis

Set up a schedule to run the Configured Monitor Job for an Object automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This keeps your analysis results, Quality Scores, and trend charts up to date without starting jobs manually.

Starting from version 1.6.0, Plauti Context has been renamed to Plauti Monitor.

A scheduled job runs all analyses for all fields as configured in the Object Configuration of the Object. Its results are recorded in the Monitor Library, in the same way as a Configured Monitor Job that you start manually.

Prerequisites

  • You have Monitor Admin permissions.
  • Your license includes the Scheduled Analysis feature. Read more in License.
  • The Object has been added to Monitor's Object Configuration, and its fields and Analysis Types are configured.

Accessing Scheduled Analysis

  1. In Plauti Monitor, at top, go to the Monitor Setup tab.
  2. At left, click Object Configuration.
  3. Click Configure at the Object you want to schedule analyses for.
  4. Go to the Scheduled Analysis tab.

The tab shows the current schedule settings:

Setting Description
Status Whether the scheduled job is Enabled or Disabled.
Frequency How often the job runs: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Day The day the job runs. For Weekly, this is a day of the week. For Monthly, this is a day of the month. Not shown for Daily.
Time The time of day the job runs.
Timezone The timezone in which the job runs. This is the timezone of the browser of the user who created the schedule.

Below the settings, you'll find:

Item Description
Last Run The date and time of the last run. This can be a scheduled run, or an extra run via Start Now. Click View Results to open the results of that run.
Next Run The date and time of the next scheduled run. Click Start Now to run an extra Configured Monitor Job right away, in addition to the scheduled runs.

Configuring the schedule

  1. Still on the Scheduled Analysis tab, at top right, click Configure.
  2. In the Configure Scheduled Analysis window, set the following:
    • Status: Switch on to enable the scheduled job. Switch off to stop all automatic runs for this Object.
    • Frequency: Select Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
    • Day of week (Weekly only): Select the day of the week the job runs.
    • Day of month (Monthly only): Select a day from 1 to 28, or select Last day of month to always run on the last day, regardless of the number of days in the month.
    • Time: Select the hour the job runs. This is the time in your browser's timezone.
  3. Click Save.

The Next Run date and time update to reflect the new schedule.

Scheduled jobs in the Job Overview

At the set date and time, each new scheduled run appears on the Monitor Job tab (Job Overview) with the name Scheduled [Object] Job [date] [time], for example Scheduled Lead Job 2026-09-26 06:00. Like manually started Configured Monitor Jobs, it carries the Configured label, indicating that its results are stored in the Monitor Library.

After a scheduled job completes:

  • The object, field, and record Quality Scores are recalculated, and the trend charts include the new data point. Read more in View Quality Scores.
  • A PDF summary report is available via Job Options > Download Report. The report lists the fields and analyses that score in the critical or warning range, displayed in the report as high and low priority, grouped by Analysis Type, with a recommended action for each. Analyses for which all fields score in the good range are not included. The report is also emailed to the user who started the job; for scheduled jobs, this is the user shown under Started By in the Job Overview.

Scheduled jobs and Quality Scores

Quality Scores are calculated when a Configured Monitor Job runs. A schedule for your jobs makes sure scores are refreshed and your score trends stay current. If you don't want to wait for the next scheduled run, click Start Now on the Scheduled Analysis tab in Object Configuration, or Start Job at Monitor Setup's Home page, to start an additional job.

Quality Scores are only recalculated when Quality Scoring is set to Enabled in the Quality Score configuration. When it is Disabled, the scheduled job still runs all analyses, but scores are not updated.

Notes

  • The schedule applies to all enabled Analysis Types and all selected fields of the Object. You cannot schedule individual Analysis Types or fields at a different frequency. You can however set different schedules per Object.
  • To exclude specific Analysis Types or fields from scheduled runs, disable them on the Fields or Analysis Types tab. This will disable them from all Configured job runs, both scheduled and manually triggered, but you can still apply them in an Ad-Hoc job.

Best practices

  • Schedule outside business hours: Set jobs to run early in the morning or late in the evening, to avoid competing with user activity in your org.
  • Start with a weekly schedule: For most Objects, a weekly run offers a good balance between up-to-date results and processing load. Switch to Daily for high-volume Objects where data changes frequently.
  • Spread schedules across Objects: If you schedule multiple Objects, set them to different hours or days, rather than running them all at the same time.
  • Review results regularly: review job analysis results, and the Data Quality Score report, to check the outcome of the latest run. This helps you spot data quality issues early.
